Baby Tyler turns...

16 days old. I had the pleasure of meeting Tyler Andrew Doorn, the first child of Tiffany and Dave Doorn. At 16 days old he was over 9 pounds and is a beautiful little boy. He was such a great subject and is already lifting his head on his own! He's so strong!

Tiffany and Dave seemed like old pros with him and I know they're going to make excellent parents. Thanks for letting me take Tyler's newborn portraits, Tiffany and Dave. I can't wait to take the next round of pictures when he's around 6-8 months old. He'll be so big. Enjoy the slideshow... Jen, Carl... and Francis...

spent the afternoon with me at Huntington Beach's Dog Beach. I've got to say that Jen and Carl are two of the nicest and most real people I've ever met. And, they are such a great couple. They brought their "baby", Francis ,along for their engagement session since he is part of their family. Francis, who is a very handsome bull dog, was sporting a leopard print halter and coordinating leash and was flaunting his new spiked collar. He looked stellar and very tough! :)

We had such a great time... even if a wave did come and get the three of them a bit wet... it didn't dampen their spirits. Check out a slideshow of some of my favorites below...

Part One...Rachel, Josh and little Jack...

came out to southern California from Nevada for a wedding and to show little Jack (he's two) the beach for the first time. They decided to have a life : captured portrait session to document Jack's reaction and because they really wanted a family picture. Needless to say, Jack is ADORABLE! However, he wasn't initially a big fan of the beach... I think he changed his mind by the end of our time there, though.

So I got a call from Boston...

and I was lucky enough to talk with Janet Leonardo. She and her family were coming out the following week for a family vacation in Huntington Beach, CA, and had been referred to me by some friends. Janet's kids are almost all grown up so she really wanted to have a last shot at a family portrait. We worked it out and I got to meet the whole Leonardo family. They were were a lovely family. :) I really liked how the pictures turned out and hope they do, too. I'll give you guys a call when I'm in Boston or the Cape! Take care and enjoy!
