Christine and Jay in Balboa Park

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session for Christine and Jay in San Diego at Balboa Park. What a fun place to shoot and what a cute and sweet couple. Christine mentioned that Jay had been practicing for our session... his modeling prowess was apparent ;)... just kidding Jay! But seriously, these two were naturals in front of the camera. And, how about Christine's dress... I LOVE it! So cute!

So far, I'm only booked for their engagement session (the wedding is likely to be a destination wedding... which I love photographing!!!)... c'mon guys... you know you want me there on your big day to tell you to tickle each other when you get nervous!

The Pulido familia...

and I had fun taking their pictures down at Laguna Beach. Shondra called me up a few weeks ago to schedule the session and I was so excited. Typically, families include some little ones so it's always interesting to see how a more "mature" family session goes. This one was great! It's so awesome to document a family at every stage. I know I wish I had more images of my family. The years just fly by... but you know that! I digress...

Back to the Pulidos... They are such a cute family. And, they are also warm, kind and funny!

Erika and Thos were married in Palm Springs...

at The Parker. Did I mention that The Parker is a photographer's dream? Well, it is. :) Modern, cool, chic, bright and fun... what more could I ask for? Well, how about a beautiful couple?! These two (and all of their guests) could truly be models. The event was coordinated flawlessly by Mimi Palmer of Enjoy Celebrations and Occasions and the amazing entertainment was provided by my new favorite band, All Star Trio. Lead singer/drummer, Dominic Tucci, ROCKS!

Thanks for letting me be a part of your day, guys. I'm glad to hear that you made it home safely from your very fun honeymoon. Welcome back! I hope you enjoy the preview below. This one was taken inside of Mr. Parker's... a dark and fun restaurant/bar. Erika and Thos said the clown in the painting was "their clown." Not quite sure but I'm sure there's an interesting story to go with that one. :)

Wendy and Daniel's e-session...

was sooooo much fun! Wendy and I didn't actually meet until we shot their e-session. We did, however, talk a number of times on the phone. Each time I just knew I was really going to like Wendy. Even though she is dealing with some personal adversity right now, you'd never know it. Talk about a positive attitude... what a great girl... And, Daniel... WOW... he has to be just about the kindest and sweetest guy I've met (outside of my husband, of course... sorry, Matt! :).

These two are a perfect match. They couldn't stop smiling and having a good time the whole morning. Wendy and I even managed to keep Daniel awake (... inside joke :) )!

Tiana is 6 months old!!!

I had the pleasure of hanging out with little Tiana and her mom, Sherral this past weekend for a fun baby session. Tiana turned 6 months old last week and just found her feet! How great that I got to be there to document who she is right now... they grow up so fast. :) I thought I'd share a few of my favorite pictures from the session below. Isn't she just adorable? Enjoy!
